About Stacklist
Stacklist is an Atlanta-based startup rethinking how people and businesses get discovered in an AI-first world. Instead of a static website that decays the moment it's published, Stacklist lets individuals and companies organize everything they want to share (resources, recommendations, portfolios, local knowledge) into curated "stacks" that people, and AI systems, can browse, follow, and reuse.
What sets Stacklist apart is that it's built for machine readers as much as human ones: a proprietary protocol structures content so AI crawlers and search/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) agents can find and surface it, with the network already seeing millions of AI/SEO crawls a month. One of the company's strongest early use cases is real estate, where individual agents and larger brokerages use Stacklist to stay visible as AI assistants increasingly replace traditional search.
Stacklist is a fast-moving, venture-backed startup currently in a fundraiser. The team is lean and distributed (US, Philippines, Croatia), and things move quickly. This is not an environment for big-company pace or process.
The Role
Stacklist is looking for a Client Success Manager to own the client relationship end to end: from onboarding through every recurring touchpoint. You'll be the main point of contact for our clients, running their check-ins, anticipating their needs, and making sure every conversation turns into clear, tracked progress.
This is a customer success role for someone who genuinely enjoys people and process in equal measure. You'll run recurring client calls, keep every account moving forward, and turn conversations into organized, actioned next steps, all with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
What You'll Do
Prep and lead recurring client check-ins (roughly every other week, ~30 minutes per client)
Take notes during calls (using tools like Granola or Otter.ai), then organize and action them into the team's workflow in Linear
Build and manage a consistent client cadence: call, next steps sent, follow-up scheduled, repeat, so nothing falls through the cracks
Triage client needs day to day: know who needs extra attention (TLC), who needs a quick 20-minute working session, and who just needs a short Loom video walkthrough
Spot patterns across client conversations and turn them into a repeatable process, template, or client-facing message, thinking a step ahead, not just responding ticket by ticket
Be the warm, relational front door for clients: the kind of person clients want to text back, not just attend an agenda with
Flex your communication style between large corporate clients and individual, less technical users (e.g., solo real estate agents) with equal ease
Use AI tools (e.g., Claude and similar) comfortably in your own workflow. You don't need to be technical, but you should be curious and capable enough to pick up new tools fast
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in an agency or startup environment, comfortable with fast pace, ambiguity, and wearing multiple hats
A background that blends customer success and account management: you protect and grow the relationship, not just answer tickets
Strong organizational instincts: you can take a messy call and turn it into a clear plan, a Linear ticket, and a calendar follow-up without being told how
A proactive, "hunter" mentality applied to retention. You don't let a client or an open item quietly go cold
Excellent, fluent, natural English, comfortable improvising in real time rather than translating or over-preparing responses. You should be able to speak from direct, specific experience ("here's what happened, here's what I did") rather than in generalities or buzzwords
A warm, easygoing communication style that builds real rapport with clients
Comfort and genuine curiosity around AI tools. You don't need deep technical expertise, but you should already be exploring what's possible
Ability to work core hours overlapping US Eastern Time (EST ±1–2 hours)
Available to start immediately
Not a fit if: you come from a large-enterprise environment and are used to a slow, process-heavy pace (this is explicitly not about company pedigree, it's about speed and ownership mentality).
Logistics
Compensation: $4,000 USD/month
Location: Remote; must have solid overlap with US Eastern Time
Team: You'll report directly to Stacklist's founder/CEO, and work alongside a distributed team (US, Philippines, Croatia)
Start date: ASAP
