Title: Software Engineer, DevOps (L2)
Location: Krakow (Poland) | Model: Hybrid (3 times/week in the office)

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront)

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD)

• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability systems (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, OpenTelemetry)

• Ensure system reliability through SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, incidents, and failures proactively

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling processes

• Collaborate with platform and product teams to ensure seamless integration and operations

• Improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines

• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and vulnerability management

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure roles

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab Actions, ArgoCD or FluxCD)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, OpenTelemetry)

• Experience with distributed streaming platforms (Kafka or Redpanda)

• Familiarity with backend ecosystems (Node.js, TypeScript, PHP, .NET, Ruby on Rails) in a DevOps context

• Understanding of microservices and GraphQL environments

• Solid understanding of system reliability, scalability, and distributed systems

Nice-to-Haves

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, load balancing, and CDN management

• Experience with media-related AWS services (Elastic Transcoder, MediaConvert)

• Experience working in globally distributed teams

• Exposure to AI-related technologies

• Experience supporting high-scale SaaS platforms
