To get there, we are building our own technological service engineering layer, combining recruiting expertise, process design, data, automation, and artificial intelligence to create a more scalable, intelligent, and high-impact operation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Combine's RevOps area has been around for a year and already has a structured approach in place, including working dashboards, a contracted ATS, established management rituals, and the use of data in decision-making.
The foundation has been laid. The next step is to transform critical processes across Sales, Operations, and Customer Success into replicable systems and, progressively, automated flows.
As the operational and technical arm of this evolution, the Automation Software Developer will be responsible for documenting, structuring, and automating processes through code, integrations, data infrastructure, and internal tools. You will work directly with the RevOps Manager and interact frequently with the heads of Sales, Operations, and Customer Success.
SHORT-TERM CHALLENGES
The initial focus will be to map, document, and formalize critical flows across Sales, Operations, and Customer Success, turning knowledge that currently lives in people into clear, replicable processes.
This will require not only technical execution, but also curiosity to understand how each area operates, how decisions are made, where bottlenecks exist, and how technology can improve the experience for teams and clients.
LONG-TERM CHALLENGES
The Automation Software Developer will become a technical owner of the systems, automations, and integrations that support Combine’s operational pipeline, from lead generation to post-placement.
The goal is to build an operation where manual work is the exception, not the rule, and where Combine can grow revenue without growing headcount at the same rate.
In the long term, this person will help Combine build its own technological service engineering infrastructure: a combination of systems, automations, AI-powered workflows, data structures, integrations, and internal tools that make our recruitment service more efficient, intelligent, and differentiated.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Support the documentation and standardization of critical processes in Sales, Operations, and Customer Success by turning existing rituals into replicable playbooks.
Map business and operational problems, translating them into technical requirements, workflows, automations, integrations, or internal tools.
Develop the data collection infrastructure needed for process automation projects and AI-enabled workflows.
Build or adapt scripts, API integrations, and internal tools to solve operational problems.
Connect platforms and systems through APIs, databases, automation flows, and custom code.
Explore and implement AI-based solutions for content generation, data processing, workflow optimization, and recruitment operations.
MUST-HAVES
Previous experience with software development, including the ability to build, maintain, or adapt applications, scripts, automations, or internal tools.
Familiarity with core software development concepts, especially APIs, integrations, system architecture, data flows, and technical documentation.
Experience working with REST APIs: able to read documentation, build calls, structure requests, handle responses, and connect different systems.
Familiarity with databases, including data modeling, querying, structuring, and maintaining organized data environments.
Intermediate English, especially for reading technical documentation and written communication.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Familiarity with LLMs and AI APIs for building automated content generation, data processing, or workflow optimization flows.
Advanced English.
Experience with CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar platforms.
Experience with ATS platforms such as TeamTailor, Greenhouse, Lever, Manatal, or similar.
Experience with discovery processes, stakeholder interviews, needs diagnosis, or opportunity identification.
Experience building AI-powered workflows for operational, commercial, or service delivery contexts.
